9/22/10 Updated info for M&G September 25 in FultonDale AL
Meet and greet is set up for September 25 at the Days Inn in Fultondale AL inside the lounge of the Days Inn!! Start time is 6:30PM
This is looking to be a great turn out as I have around 40 saying they are coming and more coming in daily! Invite your friends and anyone you talk to online that may be interested in attending.
This event is being posted on several groups and different sites so all attending are not only from this group.
The idea at this time is to meet at 6:30 to eat and socialize then return to the rooms around 8
Anyone got any ideas on a good location that is easy to find and reasonable on prices and has good music that we could meet at?? I am still looking for new locations to host meet and greets so be thinking and looking for a good location and please make suggestions.
I'm open for suggestions!!

Ok everyone I'm thinking we need to find a motel with a bar or a restaurant in it to host the meet and greet then those that want to we'll have a room party afterwards so anyone got any ideas on a place to hold it? | ||

That Days Inn doesn't have a bar or restaurant does it? This is planned to be mainly a meet and greet then only if enough are interested will we have a room party, that's why i was seeking a motel with a restaurant or bar in it. | ||

Ok folks someone needs to make some suggestions on a hotel with either a restuarant or bar in it I've looked online til I'm going blind. It would be nice to get some help from the folks that live in Birmingham. | ||

Very few ever say anything til the last minute and I get hounded wanting to know when is the next meet and greet but it always seems those that hound me are the very ones that don't show up.
I just wish more would commit to coming and actually show up. | ||

Depending on the time it starts and where its at I may try real hard to attend this one! I should hopefully be done before 1 pm that day. The meet and greet won't be until 6 or 7 in the evening depending on what location I decided to have it at but it will definitely be in B'ham. | ||

Ok right now I am looking at having the meet and greet in the restaurant at the Days Inn in Fultondale, another Days Inn that has a tavern and a waffle house was suggested but they show as being booked for that night. Ok so who is interested????????? Does this location suit everyone then assuming enough are interested we'll have a room party also? | ||

That would be as good as it could possibly get for me without having it here in Jasper. I will have to work 'til about 5 but think I could be there by 7 or 7:30. Barring anything terrible happening I'm gonna plan on coming this.

I keep getting asked what is a meet and greet? A meet and greet normally held in a bar or restaurant and they are just that you come to meet people and socialize, there is always the possibility of a room party after wards but that is not guaranteed nor is it guaranteed you'll be invited to the room party after wards. | ||
