Hi all, not sure how many check back here as of late. I have been guilty of lurking myself. But as I post this there hasn't been a post in the last 8 days or so. I remember when i first came to Swinger World it was pretty busy. Why the sudden loss of interest in this site?
It doesent seem to just be contained to this forum. A lot of the other forums are ghost towns as well. is this something that just happens in the summer time, or something different? Maybe its the price of gas =p
Even though I have meet a lot of great people around the area. Northern Alabama seems to be kinda a dead spot compared to the rest of the country. If you could draw a circle with a 100 mile radius from Cullman(closest town for the center) its dead compared to GA TN and MS even lower AL, It's not like there aren't heavily populated cites Huntsville, Decatur ect. Wheres everyone hiding?
Thats all for my .02$ not trying to be bitchy just wondering where the mass exodus went. I'm Lucky to know the few good people from here i know, and wish it were something a bit more lively

basically the people here on Swinger World in huntsville are either lurkers or just into cyber. you can look at almost every group and look and see nobody post and when anyone talks about get togethers it NEVER happens.the post above the person posted it the 15th several people have answered the post and 2 weeks later that person hasen't answered.if your only going to check the site out every 2 weeks or once a month, whats the use..sadly there are very few people on here that actually want to meet face to face..just lurkers,talkers and cyber

The biggest issue I've found is my age. I'm almost 29, and yet I'm always too young, or too old for just about everyone on the site. Singles and couples I know damn well I'd get along great with sexually and in a friendship role don't even reply to me or talk to me because they see my age and immediately shit themselves with terror. It just gets really annoying after a while, and anything I say gets sloughed off because it sounds too cliche. Point being, when I say something, I mean it, I'm not saying it just to make myself something I'm not. It's not just the HSV area either, happens in a lot of other cities I visit as well.

I only Post on weekends so it takes me to long to reply sometimes.
Fungirl welcome to the forum. I hope to post at least on the weekends to try and jump start some life into this place.
Dj paddock, I'm 24 and feel your pain, to often I'm seen as to young and not looked at as a person but more a number
And yes Meets do happen, not as often as some would hope but i have recently been to one. Problem is most people don't have the time to go or have other plans.
I'm hoping something happens. Would hate to see this group die. Remember only YOU can prevent forest.... wait wrong phrase.
A group is like a snowball. either it gets rolling and makes something unstoppable or it just stops all together and sits there.
Personally i think a neutral predestined place somewhere close to the interstate would be the best route to go. either biweekly or monthly. that way its never a mistake where to go or when to go, and people wont be as easily lost.

Well this is not my group as in I'm not the moderator but I do post my BBW group's events and some have attended like Zeb but for the most part they say they are going to attend then are no shows, the exact reason my last event posted was cancelled. My group isn't a swing group but many members are in to swinging.
As for the age thing my suggestion would be to do as Zeb did show up to a function so the ladies know you are sincere and show them you aren't immature.
I've been on vacation for the last week and sick for two weeks with bronchitis before that but I will be posting some BBW socials in the next few days.

The hardest part about everything for me, is that I travel a lot, and when I'm home I'm usually just relaxing and doing nothing. I also travel a lot kind of at random, with less than a weeks notice usually, so if I'm up for something, it's hard to plan far ahead unless I *know* for a fact I'm going to have time off. I like to try to play hotel parties, but they usually flop due to whatever different reasons behind things, be it people just scared of a hotel or people being total flakes. The few times I've been around for a meet n' greet, or someone's party somewhere, I haven't been able to secure a ride fast enough. All in all a frustrating experience, which is why when something does happen, it's real gratifying.

Bleh, I keep forgetting you can't edit comments. Another thing that tends to turn girls off, is that I'm bi. I don't try to hide it, and if a girl doesn't want it, that's perfectly ok, I'm pretty straight acting, but I do think that more girls should open their minds a bit and think about how fun it could be to be on the other side of things  .

Why is that I even know bi females that steer clear of bi guys? I"m not bi and a lot of guys get irritated with me because I won't be with another woman for them. I have no problem with threesomes FMF as long as everyone understands and respects that I'm not bi but I get passed over for that reason too............sounds like a good topic to start a new thread to me

I think there's a stigma associated with man on man sex or something. I've been with guys that loved getting head and fucking me, but they don't want to be called bi or gay or anything. Hell, I've had one or two request that I wear lingerie, (which I have no problem with  , because it gives them more of a feeling their with a girl. I have no problem telling anyone I'm bi, to an extent, I am still in the closet mostly, but in a sexual situation like this website, I feel fairly comfortable about it. As for a bi woman, yes, it's a plus, but it's in no way necessary. I've got no problems with girls that are straight, they're just as much fun as bi girls .
